  • Advocacy: Policy Alignment & Champions of Community Development

Neighborhood Project Support Intake

  • We recognize that the on-going changes within the City of Cincinnati administration have caused interruptions in some neighborhood projects. The City of Cincinnati's Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) has been restructured into two new entities: the Department of Opportunity, Outreach, Resources & Services (DOORS) and the Office of Strategic Growth (OSG). For questions, please reach out to communitydevelopment@cincinnati-oh.gov

  • Currently, the HomeBase Cincinnati team is focused on building capacity and supporting our existing CDC membership. If you are interested in learning more about how we support neighborhoods or a for-profit organization looking to connect with communities and neighborhoods, please reach out to Gus.Ricksecker@HomeBaseCincy.org

  • If you are interested in becoming a Corporate Sponsor of HomeBase Cincinnati please reach out to Rosa.Christophel@HomeBaseCincy.org

Discover the ABC’s of CDCs (Community Development Corporations)

The ABCs of CDCs emerged from a shared desire to simplify the answer to a common but complex question: “What is a Community Development Corporation?” This student-led project breaks down the complex work of CDCs into an engaging, easy-to-understand story map and pamphlet. Through interviews with CDC leaders and thoughtful design, the ABCs of CDCs lifts up community voices to demystify the impact of these vital organizations.
